The East Coast Challenge has wrapped up, and we couldn’t be prouder of our Team Vic squads. This year’s results mark Victoria’s most successful performance at the tournament to date.

• Boys Navy: Gold

• Boys White: Bronze

• Girls Navy: Silver

• Girls White: 9th

For many athletes, this was their first time competing at a national-level tournament, and they rose to the occasion with resilience and determination. Across multiple high-intensity matches each day, players showed impressive stamina and composure, particularly during the nail biting medal rounds.

This tournament is a key stepping stone on the pathway to the National State Championships in Canberra this September. The experience gained here will be invaluable as the teams prepare for the next stage.

A huge thank you goes to the dedicated coaches who guided our teams throughout the tournament. Your leadership and support were instrumental to the players' success. Special thanks to Richmond alumni Jemma P and Matt L, who played key roles on the coaching bench.
