STATE SQUAD SELECTION

Richmond Water Polo Club would like to congratulate all of our athletes selected in the Victorian State Squads across the 13&U, 15&U and 17&U age groups.

Following a highly competitive trial process, it is fantastic to see Richmond athletes represented across every age group, reflecting the continued growth and strength of our junior program. Selection in the Victorian pathway program is a significant achievement and recognises the hard work, commitment and dedication shown by our athletes throughout the season.

The Victorian program provides athletes with an exciting opportunity to further develop their skills, challenge themselves at a higher level and train alongside some of the best young players from across the state. The 13&U squads will now begin preparations for the Development Tournament in Hobart, while the 15&U and 17&U squads commence training ahead of the National State Championships pathway.

Richmond is also proud to have four coaches involved in the Victorian program, with Courtney, Sienna, Lucy and Rowan all contributing to the development of Victorian athletes. Their ongoing dedication, knowledge and support continue to play an important role both within our club and across the wider water polo community.

We would also like to acknowledge all athletes who participated in the trial process. Representing your club at trials and challenging yourself at the next level is an achievement in itself, and we are proud of everyone who took part.
