What is the Richmond Cup?

Our committee and coaches have been working on creating an internal competition to offer regular match practice through term 2. The result has been the creation of the Richmond Cup an 8 round robin tournament with finals. Teams will be created from a our State League 1, 2, 3 and U18 teams. We will also welcome players who have previously played with Richmond.

Our primary goals for this competition are:

• Sustaining match fitness and skill development throughout term 2.

• Injecting variation into our training regime.

• Facilitating pathways for players from junior to senior competition  

• Fostering a sense of community and a strong culture across all our teams. 

Games and matches will be played on Sundays and Tuesdays throughout Term 2.
