NATIONAL SQUAD SELECTION

Richmond Water Polo Club is incredibly proud to congratulate the following athletes on their selection in the 2026 Australian U16 and U18 Development Squads:

U16 Boys: Darcy Lea, Jacob Hebden
U16 Girls: Ella Spiteri, Hannah Higgins, Imogen Booth (Albury Tigers)
U18 Boys: Seth Booth (Albury Tigers), Gus Callaghan, Harris Anderson
U18 Girls: Lucy Burchard

This is a fantastic achievement and an exciting opportunity for each of these athletes to further their development on the national stage.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank our dedicated coaches for their ongoing commitment, guidance and support, helping our athletes reach this level through their time and effort both in and out of the pool.

Water Polo Australia’s National U16 and U18 Development Program forms part of the 2024–2032 High Performance Strategy, aimed at strengthening athlete pathways and broadening support across the states.

We are so proud of each athlete’s achievement and look forward to watching their continued growth and success in the years ahead.
