From this Friday some of the best female Water Polo players in Australia will battle it out at MSAC at the 19&U National State Championships. We wish all of the Victorian players the best of luck including our Richmond members Alice B, Alice H, Billie, Catie, Charlotte, Darcy, Jemma, Maddie and Coach Robyn.

We know you will rise to the challenge represent us proudly.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Jemma Potts, from the Richmond club in Melbourne, is just 16 and is a talented utility player who will have a big impact in both attack and defence for Victoria. She was MVP at the recent 17&U nationals and has toured with the Aussie 17&U Green team and Aussie Junior development team to the US. She is also a member of the Richmond State League 1 team and Melbourne Phoenix national league team.

Teammate Madeline Marshall is 18, from the same club as Potts and is the captain of the Victorian team.She has strong leadership skills, a high work rate up and down the pool, driving skills, an ability to gain front water draw exclusions, or score, and will challenge the defence. She is also a member of Richmond Women’s State League 1 team and Melbourne Phoenix women’s national league team.
